He has shown me that He loves me from within the messiness and imperfection of my life, and that growing in holiness is all about becoming my True Self in Him.



Ann holds a HonsB.Sc. in Philosophy and Psychology from St. Michael's College in the University of Toronto. She received the Mercier-Knowlton Prize in Philosophy in Christianity & Culture which is awarded to the graduating student with the highest CGPA in Philosophy and Christianity & Culture. Ann also holds a M.A. in Philosophy of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto (OISE/UT), and was in the midst of pursuing her doctorate in philosophy in education when the Lord called her to change paths.


She has 12 years of experience in human and spiritual formation in the Catholic Church in Singapore, including being Director for Youth & Young Adults and heading up the Office for New Evangelisation in her local parish.

In 2014, Ann left full-time parish employment to focus more fully on speaking about discipleship and the interior life, and meeting individuals and small groups for spiritual conversation and formation.  


Ann has spoken at archdiocesan events, parish team formations, PPC retreats, community faith formations sessions, Archdiocesan RCIA Sponsor Training, parish recollection days, as well as at regional events in Malaysia.  Together with her husband Henry, Ann delights in helping individuals discern their personal vocation.

In 2020, Ann entered a new season of her personal vocation by founding Parrhesia and starting Becoming Me where she sows seeds of the Word through her podcast.


As a speaker, Ann is known for her warm personality, clarity in communication, and knack for engaging audiences in both mind and heart. She draws upon her inter-disciplinary learning and practical life experiences in philosophy, psychology, pedagogy and Catholic theology / spirituality to make profound concepts simple and relatable. 

As a consultant and coach, Ann is known for her creative and accurate insights into life situations and her ability to help clients advance in self-knowledge and holistic personal, spiritual and emotional growth through compassionate truth-telling. 

Ann is a certified practitioner of the The Myers-Briggs Company Pte Ltd MBTI® Step I™ and Step II™ instrument.


She is also certified to coach with the Motivation Code™ (www.motivationcode).

Finally, she is also a Called & Gifted Catholic Charism Discernment teacher and interviewer trained by the Catherine Siena Institute.
